The World Food Programme (WFP) is the food distribution agency of
the United Nations system and the largest food aid provider in the world.
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) works to raise levels of nutrition and standards of living and productivity in regard to agriculture and living conditions in rural areas of the world. It promotes international food standards and fair practices in food trade in the struggle to eradicate hunger worldwide.
Yearbook of the United Nations provides an overview of the food aid delivered by the United Nations with a detailed subject index.
